
As I travel the world I take many photos that pique my interest, these could be lumped into a "peculiar category" ie. they are peculiar to my interests and may be different from what one usually sees in a collection of travel photos.

Light also provides with a window on the world around us, giving us opportunities to appreciate and interact with our physical environment. Sometimes, at night and in darker spaces, we need artificial light to shine on our surroundings. In today's post we will look at some lights, lamps and lanterns that light up our lives. As well as their practical purposes these items may also serve a decorative purpose.

Amsterdam and Japan obviously do good lights but nothing can beat the Splendour bling.
