A-Z Blogging Challenge 2025 - Q is for Quotes

As I travel the world I take many photos that pique my interest, these could be lumped into a "peculiar category" ie. they are peculiar to my interests and may be different from what one usually sees in a collection of travel photos.

For the Blogging from A to Z April Challenge in 2025 my theme is Peculiar Pics. During April I invite you to join me for an online tour of Peculiar Pics from my digital albums. These will be sourced from my travels between April 2024 to March 2025.

Quotes are simply groups of words that are shared or published. They may be happy, sad, kind, cruel, biased, opinionated or instructional. As I have a love of environmental print I am sharing some of the quotes I snapped over the past year.

As we did a World War One ANZAC Tour several of my snaps are around that theme.

  1. Does any tourist to the battlefields go to have fun? I hope not. Lots of great quotes there. The diary is special…so matter of fact about going over the top and losing a mate. I wonder if the writer survived. Loved Queen Vic’s quote.

  3. This post is my favourite of your AtoZ post so far in 2025 Jill. I love your Anzac theme. The childrens drawings are beautiful and I love the tablet at Amiens Cathedral

    1. It was a sobering and memorable journey. Our guide had told us of the tablet in Amiens Cathedral, we were determined to find it - that took quite a while.
