A-Z Blogging Challenge 2025 - O is for Orange and Omnibuses

As I travel the world I take many photos that pique my interest, these could be lumped into a "peculiar category" ie. they are peculiar to my interests and may be different from what one usually sees in a collection of travel photos.

For the Blogging from A to Z April Challenge in 2025 my theme is Peculiar Pics. During April I invite you to join me for an online tour of Peculiar Pics from my digital albums. These will be sourced from my travels between April 2024 to March 2025.

Although I don't often wear Orange or decorate my home with it I am drawn to this bright and vibrant colour when I am out taking pictures.

Love them or Hate them we sometimes need Omnibuses (buses) to tour and get around when in foreign places. While I prefer small minibuses sometimes we have to take what we are given and ride on large tourist coaches. I am grateful that the cruise company we use doesn't overfill these vehicles so we usually travel in comfort.

Tangier, Morocco

I love Hoponn-Hopoff buses for orientation in a new city.
We ususally buy a two-day pass.

  2. My kitchen is a pumpkin orange. When we were painting my daughter convinced me that we needed to make the room "pop". Usually I choose beige or off white with a rosy under glow.

  3. I enjoyed these images. Your posts are making me look differently at travel photos as I look for planes. Meanwhile I’m sitting on my very orange lounge as I write. I ain’t afraid of no colour!
