 ... third time in six weeks - I don't want to make a habit of this.

Number Twelve

Meeting our twelfth grandchild who was born earlier this month. My recent surgery had prevented me from seeing her earlier.

Benign

When I had my kidney removed last week I was told the tumour was a malignant carcinoma but it hadn't spread. So that was good. 

The kidney went off to pathology to see what sort it was. My surgeon came by last night with the pathology report which was a real surprise - the tumour is a benign Oncocytoma. These tumours are usually smaller than mine. 

I am delighted to have the largest oncocytoma the surgeon and pathologist have ever seen.
