As I travel the world I take many photos that pique my interest, these could be lumped into a "peculiar category" ie. they are peculiar to my interests and may be different from what one usually sees in a collection of travel photos.
For the

I have previously shared images of knockers on this blog
here and am delighted to have found a whole new set of knockers from our most recent year of travel. Please take a look.

A
kookaburra is a native Australian bird. Here is a picture of one hiding in a tree in our backyard.

When we were window shopping in
Cassis, France we came across a Kookabarra in a patisserie. Although it was tempting we resisted the urge to try it.

When away in a city I always take note of the door knockers. I saw very unusual ones in Spain. You have a great collection here. A pastry Kookaburra. That's unusual.
ReplyDeleteI often take photos of doors, windows, and gates when we travel but admit not many of knockers. These are great!

I’d have had to try the kookaburra out of curiosity. So many knickers but I don’t much like the hand ones, they give me a “death” vibe.
ReplyDeleteI though the same!
