20 Something Snaps - Doordling around London

Sitting in my geneacave this afternoon I coined a new word "Doordling" to describe an activity I embrace when travelling.

I am a slow walker who dawdles. The doordling occurs when I combine this activity with stops to take photos of doors I spy on my journeys.

On our recent holiday we spent some time in London where I enjoyed several "Doordles".

Swannery

Back in the 1990s when two of the  children and I accompanied Robert on a study tour I took the children to visit the Swannery at Abbotsbury while Robert worked.

On the first port, Portland England, of our current cruise I revisited the swannery this time with Robert. In spite of the cold, windy conditions we thoroughly enjoyed the visit to this sanctuary for 600 mute swans where had a chance to feed them.

Doordling in Cobh

A change of itinerary gave us an extra day in Cobh so went went Doordling and snapped a few local images.

Looks like a blue/green palette is popular in Cobh or is it that I prefer that to a brown/red palette and snap accordingly?
