So proud of our efforts to populate Australia in the seventies and early eighties. Our bundles of joy who are all grown up are a constant source of joy.

Here I am in mid May and I haven't reported on my reading in April. That is was rather a lean month for reading I blame on my participation in the A to Z Blogging Challenge. 

It also  took me quite a few days to get through Kate Grenville's Secret River. This heavy tome in physical format had been sitting on my bedside table for several years. Defeated by its weight I hadn't read it so I finally procured the eBook. I am so pleased that I did.

Peculiar Pics - A Compendium

There was a professional photographer on board one of our recent cruises who gave a series of lectures on creating better pictures. I was one of his eager students who took particular notice of his advice to Zoom In and take more closeup images. 

I now find myself with a gallery of these "in-your-face"  images.
