Not singing in the rain

We're walking around in the rain at St Peter Port in Guernsey after a damp crossing on the ferry from Poole in the UK. I've been looking forward to learning more about this island since reading The Guernsey literary and potato peel society.

From our first inspection it appears to be a hilly town with narrow winding streets.

Just back from a visit to Dyrham Park in Gloucestershire, an historic country house situated in a deer park. This property is in need of some TLC.

Looking into Lacock

Making use of our National Trust Membership we visited Lacock Abbey and Village on our journey south. As usual our cameras were rather active during the visit. Following are a few images.
