Wherefore art thou Romeo?

The final stop on our Back-Roads tour was Verona. I was thrilled to visit this site as the last time we attempted to visit we could not find a parking spot. Juliet's Balcony has now been ticked off the bucket list.

Later today we board our cruise.

The Most beautiful lake?

Since we left Lake Maggiore we have travelled through sub-alpine regions in Northern Italy to Trento. One of our walks today was on the shores of Lake Molveno which is billed as the most beautiful lake in Italy.

It was rather pretty and we enjoyed the absence of crowds.

A Ferry Ride

After checking into our hotel in Santa Margherita Ligure today we took a ferry ride to neighbouring Portofino.

While the weather was overcast we enjoyed our second visit to this charming site.

There's no-one on the beach today.

Our second visit to Comogli, Italy, was in stark contrast to our last visit when the beach was crawling with tourists.
