While in London this time we are ticking off some bucket list items by visiting sites we haven't ever visited or, like the place we visited today, had only previously made a fleeting visit.
We walked from Kings Cross part of the way to our destination, St Paul's Cathedral Cathedral, and as we are avoiding the tube lest we catch Covid, we took a bus the rest of the way.
Entry to the site was ticketed and we felt very safe as we spent a couple of hours exploring the nooks and crannies of this impressive building. On reviewing my photos I noticed how much gold was in evidence in the fixtures and fittings.

Last night I had my first ever Bento Box from a local Japanese restaurant, Mizumi. The food was varied, fresh, delicious and plentiful.
Although I have eaten Japanese food on several occasions this was my introduction to the Bento Box. I loved having a little Japanese smorgasbord all to myself. It won't be the last time I choose this option
On the 27th December 2021 the Goodwill Librarian launched on Facebook her 2022 reading challenge. I made a hasty decision to join this challenge.

Each month it gets harder to fit my reading into the remaining challenge criteria. I really need to target my reading but just can't help reading what is close by. A post-Covid return to travel is also impacting on my reading time.

For the last few months I have been travelling between home and Narrabri while Robert is working in Narrabri.

In the last few weeks our temporary home has been in a new flat slap bang in the middle of Narrabri's main street. While it is only has basic furniture it is a light and airy apartment equipped with all mod cons. It is so convenient to the shops, supermarket and the local pub and Chinese restaurant that serve good food.
