The Pictures tell the story

Some of the 300 snapshots I captured today show what we saw and experienced in Munich today

The natives took advantage of the sun at the beach in The English Garden

Some of them tried surfing in the river

The fence of treble clefs guarded the Residenz

A trio of doors

Bicycles rule

Lego at the SBahn

Marching men

We acquainted ourselves with a department store

Crazy columns

Our bus got too close for comfort

German Guard Dog

Leonine Guard
Santa's solar panel

Street art

Classic German  footware

A lost instrument

Thirst quenchers

Sausages and sauerkraut complete the German experience

  1. Great photos Jill!

I love that treble clef fence. And a lego vending machine? Very cool!

  2. I love how they thought they had to chain the lion down!

  3. Brings back memories. I also saw them surfing the river in the Englischer Garten. And I remember the lions at the Feldherrnhalle. When I was there there was a lone man standing up there (dwarfed by the lions) playing "Einer Kleiner Nachtmusik" on the violin. The acoustics were incredible and the memory has stuck with me for the past 22 years!

I'd love to hear what you have to say so I encourage you to say G'day in comments on my posts.
