We returned to Dublin this afternoon and went walkabout with our cameras.

A Monday Drive in Limerick

This afternoon we ventured into the Irish countryside. Highlights were the Flying Boat Museum at Foynes, Desmond Hall in Newcastle West and the charming town of Adare.

Equine Ireland

We travelled from Dublin to Limerick today with a few stops along the way. The National Irish Horse Stud and Garden near Kildare was a great surprise. An added bonus was the beautiful Japanese Garden.

A Long Haul

After 36 hours and 17 minutes we have arrived at Dublin airport. Sydney to Dublin is a long haul!

Now to collect the rental car and explore the Emerald Isle.

I can see that we are in for a treat as we sit and watch the goings on in our new backyard. I can see that we are in for many years of pleasure and the our cameras will get a workout.
