A Colourful vibe

White sand, sunshine and holidaymakers made for a colourful vibe in Alter de Chao. This was not what we expected to see on The Amazon. We had a super time in this lovely spot yesterday.

I wish I would have taken my swimsuit. Robert, who is sometimes smarter than I, took his and enjoyed his dip in the river.

When we were in Parintis, a port on the Amazon River in Brazil, today we were treated to a spectacular Boi Bumba show.

A Menagerie in Manaus

The Zoo in Manaus was underwhelming with very few animals living in ordinary surroundings.

The telephones had better houses than the animals

We docked near this vessel that was going to Manaus. The passengers slept on hammocks. I'm pleased to be on Regent
