We knew nothing about the Tigre River Delta near Buenos Aires so we took a cruise around the delta that feeds into the Rio Plata. The Tigre River is named for the “tigres” or jaguars that once roamed here. The river delta is one of the world’s largest and is laced with canals that form a network of forested islands.We saw a variety of people, buildings and water craft as we travelled along.
