As I didn't need to visit the Leaning Tower of Pisa for a fifth time I stayed back at our hotel in lovely Lucca while the tour group went to Pisa.
I did my own walking tour of our neighbourhood in the Old City. When I set out it was peaceful but it got rather busy as the daytrippers aarrived. I'll go out again when the crowds die down.
While I took lots of photos I'll make this a Doordling post.
