Au Revoir Paris - Jusqu'à la Prochaine Fois

Our last excursion in Paris on Monday evening was an open top bus tour to see the city lights. As It wasn't dark until around 9:30pm it made for a late night out. It wasn't a flash tour but it enabled us to see some flash landmarks.

The cameras got some exercise catching images of landmarks and sites that were illuminated. I hope you can recognise some of them.

Sunday Stroll

 Our excursion today took us to the charming old city of Vannes in Britanny. As it was a Sunday several of the shops were shut but there were plenty of locals out enjoying the sunshine.

Penfolds take over

So today we visited a ruined castle and a Chateau we hadn't previously visited.

 
The vineyard buildings at Chateau Lanassan were a bit tired but the guide told us that several were to be renovated. 

An Australian company has bought a 75,% interest in the business. I asked if it was Penfolds and she told us that it's one of three French vineyards in which Penfolds has a large interest.

 
I immediately took more interest in the site. Some pics follow.

Cassis

Until we signed up for a tour of Cassis in France I thought Cassis was something to drink. While no liquid passed our lips we drank in many colourful sights as we walked around thr delightful town, on the Cote d'Azur.

My camera got a good workout.
