Green Boots

Paddy loves to sit out on our deck in the sun each morning where he watches the boats on the lake and the energetic folk who walk along the shoreline. He wasn't happy today as he doesn't like the lovely lime green boots he is wearing to stop him chewing his feet.

Requiem for a Sole

It was a hot day for stroll in Sydney when, alas, poor BobBob lost his sole. Maxwell Smart eat your heart out.

I loved those shoes.

Put on your High Heel Sneakers

My grand-daughter came home from her school trip to the US wearing this footwear that reminded me of an old song from the Rolling Stones.

Retail therapy

Stock levels in Macys, Marshalls and Ross Stores have been seriously depleted during our last two days in Los Angeles. Some of our grandchildren will be well shod.

It's touristing tomorrow with both the Getty Villa and Warner Brothers Tours.

Tourist Sandals

My tourist sandals have been around the world a couple of times. Purchased in a market in China for around $12 over five years ago they are extremely comfortable and durable and are perfect for walking and swimming in areas with rough seabeds. Each time I take them on a trip I say that I will ditch them and replace them with a new pair but I always bring these faithful soles home.

Today I ventured to the sales where I found a new pair of tourist sandals at half price. As I can't resist a good bargain I purchased them. They will accompany me on my next cruise but I can't bring myself to throw out the old Chinese models just yet.

More winter warmth

They're certainly no fashion item but my Faux fur lined winter boots purchased for a song from Ross Stores in Salt Lake City are keeping my feet nice and warm.
