Christmas in Coral Gables

Last night prior to boarding our cruise today Regent put us up at the Hyatt Regency in Coral Gables. We took a drive around the area, an evening walk and had dinner at one of our favourite US chain restaurants, Benihana, after checking in to the hotel. 

As we wandered we noticed plenty of evidence of the coming Christmas season.

The Malls beckon

In Miami at the Intercontinental Hotel Doral where the staff we encountered on reception last night didn't speak English!!

Breakfast done. Walking shoes on. Ready for the Mall. Hoping to find some bargain fashions for the cruise.

We had a fun Mexican dinner in Baltimore, Maryland tonight with Robert's first cousins in America.

After leaving New York we drove to Lancaster County in Pennsylvania where we toured the Amish communities.

I got right into the swing of things at Kinky Boots in NYC yesterday. What a fab show.

Broadway Extravaganza

For many years I have dreamed about seeing this Christmas show. 

Although we had a beaut night watching this extravaganza at Radio City Music Hall the 14 block walk each way in the cold was a challenge.

The only downside was that the security man confiscated my fave water bottle that was empty.

A Room with a view

Installed in our hotel, a simple Holiday Inn just around the corner from Macys Fifth Avenue, and look what we can see out our window. Bonus!!!
