Soapy Town

Our excursion today was the the Port Sunlight Model Village near Liverpool, UK that was built by the Lever family to house the workers at their factory that manufactured the famous Sunlight Soap and other products.

The housing was in brick buildings built in a variety of architectural styles all in garden settings. We tried to capture images of the architecture from our tour bus but got clearer images during our visits to the superb Lady Lever Art Gallery and the Village Church. It was a fabulous and enlightening excursion. I blogged about this day in Soapy Town.
