No sirens needed
I had a fun ride up the M1 Freeway in an ambulance this morning as I was transferred from the surgical hospital to a rehab hospital close to our home.
The two female ambulance officers gave me five star service, it was a quiet ride as they didn't use the siren.

Screwed
I had a little op yesterday. The surgeon removed my pesky ankle replacement and fused my ankle with an impressive range of rods and screws.
As I have to stay off my foot for several months I anticipate lots of time for genealogy and reading.

Hello, is it beer you're looking for?
I am very interested in environmental print in all its forms including signs, banners, plaques, advertising. Although I don't set out to photograph particular classes of item, if I dig into my photo archives, I can often find a collection of images relating to a theme.
Today I dug up some images that related to the promotion of a universal drink, beer. Several of these photos taken from a moving bus are a bit fuzzy.

20 Something Snaps - Knock, Knock
There are thousands of Door photos on my hard drive but only a few snaps of an important piece of door furniture, the Knocker.
Today I am sharing some knocker images that I have snapped on my travels. Lions' Heads and Hands seem to be the most popular motifs.
