Not dancing...yet

Had a telephone consultation today.

Not dancing quite yet but the surgeon has given me permission to wean myself off my airboot and crutches.

My instructions "Don't overdo it", "Listen to your foot" and "Take it slowly". "It's only 3 months since surgery! "

No sirens needed

I had a fun ride up the M1 Freeway in an ambulance this morning as I was transferred from the surgical hospital to a rehab hospital close to our home.

The two female ambulance officers gave me five star service, it was a quiet ride as they didn't use the siren.

Screwed

I had a little op yesterday. The surgeon removed my pesky ankle replacement and fused my ankle with an impressive range of rods and screws.

As I have to stay off my foot for several months I anticipate lots of time for genealogy and reading.

Pre-op

Didn't feel a thing

Not quite as bright as I was pre-op
