Thanks to our daughter and son-in-law for hosting our family lunch on Easter Sunday. Thanks also to the Sydney families who expended their valuable fuel to join us in Newcastle. Everyone pitched in to provide a spectacular repast.
As the matriarch of the family it was lovely to be in the company of most of our descendants at this special time. Being old has its advantages, I appreciate the efforts of our younger (sandwich) generation who organise our family get togethers and spoil we two senior citizens.
Here are a few happy snaps from our day.

The 25 and over Table . I forgot to snap the 20 and under table.

The paella was outstanding

Or thirsty

Choices, choices

Sweet treats
As I was busy chatting and bonding I didn't manage to grab photos of all those present. I'm hoping that some of the snappers in the family can provide me with a few more images to add to this post.

A Bag of Surprises for those 25 and under
As our grandchildren are getting older, only one is not over 13, we did not have an Easter Egg Hunt this year. They were all delighted to receive their annual chocolate bounty in a Bunny Bag.
And here are a few extra faces.

I think we have everyone now, Thanks Liz and Jo.
It's good to have the family to keep me on my toes. Seems as though I missed a couple, popping them in now.
Could still be missing someone
ReplyDeleteRectified, thanks. It's a good way to get family to read my blog.
