Next stop Argentina

FYI we are staying on the West Coast of King Island at 40 degrees south. The next land to the west is in Argentina.

We had a drive around the capital of King Island, Currie, this afternoon. 

Robert Ball also gave me a tour of his workplace.

Only thrills, no spills

Thanks to our Sydney cousins who visited with their jetski and gave the kids and Robert some rides on the lake.

Boxing Day on the Lake

The descendants joined us for a casual meal in the backyard on Boxing Day. Although the water was choppy the kids enjoyed paddling, kayaking and fishing. 

Man overboard

The lonely little barnacled boat has a crew today. That are experiencing some difficulty in setting sail. They even lost a man overboard. Luckily he could swim.

Minus 20 degrees

A storm rolled in and the mercury has fallen to 21c. We had a high of 41c today.

Here comes the rain.

Smoke

Welcome rain is here. That smoke across the Lake looks worrying.

Hawaii is calling

When you can't be in Hawaii you have an Hawaiian themed party. 

Our family gathered for our granddaughters shared Hawaiian themed birthday party.
