Mystical Muscat

We enjoyed our return visit to beautiful Muscat in Oman today. We have visited this port three times and would love to return to further explore the beautiful buildings old and new and have more time for watery activities.

Today we visited Dubai Marina a new area with many skyscraper blocks of apartments and a few sleek boats.

A Tiny White Centre

I've long been a fan of Bougainvillea but only realised today when I was examining our plant that the blooms have a tiny white centre.

Stairway to Paradise

I loved this set of stairs that I came across yesterday near the Visitors' Information Centre at Glenbrook in The Blue Mountains.

They list (in order I think) the towns and villages in The Beautiful Blue Mountains that is one of the beautiful areas in our State of New South Wales.

A Great Invention

Fellow Australian, Hugh Jackman, said "To me, the smell of fresh-made coffee is one of the greatest inventions." I would add that drinking it is pretty darned special too.

 It is coincidental but most appropriate that, on International Coffee Day, we welcomed a new coffee machine into our home.

The first cup was hot and delicious and the machine behaved better then the one it replaced.  Thanks to Barista Bob for getting the new gadget up and running.
