The highlight of our visit to Phoenix was The Desert Botanical Garden, http://www.dbg.org/. A return visit in spring when the garden is in bloom is on our bucket list.

As we continued our tour around Utah, Arizona and Nevada's National Parks and Natural Wonders we called in this afternoon at Monument Valley that sits in Arizona and Utah.
In Australia, we call the areas in the outback with red soil the Red Centre, I think that the area around Monument Valley could also lay claim to this title.
