A Year's Absence
Life has got in the way of personal blogging. I have not posted here for over a year!
In the last twelve months I have moved house, lost my mother and travelled overseas half a dozen times. Mr GeniAus and I are now settled in our new abode on Lake Macquarie and are enjoying our life by the lake.
I was forced back to this blog as I need to try and make it compliant for the new EU GDPR Legislation. I find this a pain in the neck as I don't really understand all this stuff - I am just a little old Granny Blogger who doesn't have a business and who blogs for pleasure. However, as the fines for non-compliance are rather stiff, I have tried to make appropriate alterations.
I have added a Privacy Statement, Removed the Follow me by Email Widget the Subscribe to Posts with Atom link.
While I was visiting the blog I updated my Bucket List and Diary of a Decrapifier pages.
I had a dormant blog, Menatwerk, in which I had posted photos from my travels of people at work. I have imported all of the posts from that blog into this one. These posts are tagged with the Men at work tag. That only took about five minutes and saved me from having to modify the old blog.

Our Grandson the jockey
Oops. Too late. I Didn't realise I wasn't supposed to take photos at Newcastle Grammar's "Into the Woods" last night. Our Grandson was dashing in his bright blue jacket as he rode his trusty steed across the stage.
