Poles
I learnt today that Chopin was Polish but he had a French father hence the surname.
Marie Curie was Polish, she married a Frenchman. We saw her house today.
Joseph Conrad was Polish although he wrote in English which was his third language.
Mila 18, the title of Leon Uris' novel, is a real place that I visited today.
